This article is based on the areas of overlap identified by an occupational therapist and a speech therapist in their treatment of preschool children with developmental problems. The advantages of combined sessions are discussed and a case history provided.
The authors conclude that their integrated approach has increased their awareness of the language, physical and emotional needs of the children they treat.
