After physiotherapy, consisting of therapeutic exercise and cryotherapy either with or without galvanic stimulation, 46 patients underwent a control examination. Both treatment groups yielded a significant therapeutic effect. Scanning, together with clinical diagnostic methods, proved a valuable tool of diagnosis, selection and follow-up in the therapy of patients with reflexsympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSDS)
