Derotation orthosis for early functional treatment after reduction of total hip prostheses. Dislocation after total hip replacement is no rare complication at all. It considerably delays postoperative rehabilitation. With a new type of derotation orthosis presented in this paper, early functional treatment is possible without increasing the risk of redislocation.
Furthermore, the orthosis presents several advantages over a Judet type plaster boot.
