Indication and technical principle of the segment brace. In this article,
a special and very effective orthotic management is described which is used in infantile spine disorders i.e scolioses and kyphoses of different etiology. The principle of this device is to achieve a correction of the spine malformation according to the x-ray result by pressure segments which are acting in the optimum biomechanical angle.
