EMG feedback within the context of multimodal neurorehabilitation in case of a central movement disorder with children and young people. A compact overview on the application of the EMG-feedback method in children and adolescents with central movement disorders is presented. After a short review, an overview to the methods(setting, software, hardware, target group)is given. EMG-feedback can be a scientifically based treatment part in a complex concept for therapy and rehabilitation of movement disorders. It is important to transfer the improved selective motor control by EMG-feedback into activities of daily living.
