Zum Stellenwert von Logopädie, Physio- und Ergotherapie bei Morbus Parkinson
FUCHS GA
AKTUELLE NEUROL , 2003, vol. 30, n° SUPPL.2, p. S246-S248 Doc n°: 110547 Localisation : Documentation IRR Descripteurs : AF5 - PARKINSON Parkinson's disease - Although non-medical, adjuvant interventions such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy have had a long tradition in programs for treating idiopathic Parkinson's syndrome, we still have only few empirical studies demonstrating their actual efficacy. This is partly due to the intrinsic difficulty in operationalizing and then comparing the effects of specific interventions which vary substantially from one another. Additional problems arise in attempting to (1) differentiate the effects of particular interventions from the general background of psychological or psychosocial factors, and especially to (2) evaluate their effectiveness long-term in a progressive disease.
