Bilateral opercular polymicrogyria

We report the first pathological documentation of the developmental form of this disorder. Pathological examination revealed bilateral failure of opercular closure, opercular polymicrogyria, periventricular gray-matter heterotopias, and absence of the septum pellucidum.
