Myocardial infarction patients who regularly attented an exercise rehabilitation program for a minimum period of five months (experimental group) were compared with patients who dropped out of the same program shortly after entry and who remained physically inactive. The results of the British printing corporation life-style questionnaire indicated that although there was no statistically significant difference in the life-style of the two groups before the myocardial infarction. The experimental group's overall postinfarction life-style was significantly healthier (distinctly with regard to the food, exercise and care factors).
