Paralysie diaphragmatique revelant un syndrome de Parsonage Turner

Neuralgic amyotrophy is considered to be a form of mononeuropathy
multiplex which generally involves the nerves of the upper limbs.
We describe four cases of neuralgic amyotrophy revealed by dyspnea due to phrenic
nerve involvement, with asymptomatic motor deficit in the upper part of the
brachial plexus. CONCLUSION: Phrenic nerve involvement revealed by dyspnea is
rare. Associated with neurologic signs, the diagnosis is evocative. In case of an
isolated attack, the key to diagnosis is the electromyographic exam.
