J PROSTHET ORTHOT , 2006, vol. 18, n° 3, p. 63-67 Doc n°: 125240 Localisation : Documentation IRR Descripteurs : EC24 -ORTHESE DE MEMBRE SUPERIEUR, DD66 - TRAITEMENTS - AVANT-BRAS Loss of forearm rotation can lead to significant loss of upper limb function. Operative treatment to improve rotation of the forearm at both the proximal radioulnar joint has been reported. There are limited orthosis designs available to adress this clinical problem and limited information about the efficacy of conservative management of forearm rotation stiffness. A unique orthosis designed was fabricated to provide static progressive motion for forearm rotation motion: supination and pronation. Langue : ANGLAIS |
