Role of gain programming in the voluntary movement of the human forearm

The model reference adaptive aspect and the questions of parameter against signal adaptation are analysed by modelling the neural control mechanisms of the muscles. It is demonstrated that, for a precise target hit, a parameter adaptation scheme, corresponding to a central programming of system gains, is necessary.
