Total hip arthroplasty (THA) is an effective treatment for severe osteoarthritis of the hip. As is true with all operations, many complications have been described after THA. Stress fractures of the femoral neck have been described after total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
(1) Tibial stress fractures have been described in association with severe osteoarthritis of the knee(2-6) and after TKA.
(7) This article presents a case of tibia stress fracture of the tibia after THA, which has previously not been described.
