The sitting assessment test for children with neuromotor dysfunction measures quality of independent sitting ability across four areas ; proximal stability, postural tone, postural alignment and balance. It was used to measure change in a child with spastic diplegia, who attended for a block of physiotherapy at he Bobath Centre, and outpatient treatment centre for children with cerebral palsy.
