HAND CLIN , 2005, vol. 21, n° 4, p. 631-640 Doc n°: 124129 Localisation : Documentation IRR Descripteurs : DD761 - TRAITEMENT CHIRURGICAL - POIGNET-CARPE Complete or total wrist arthrodesis is a well established reconstructive surgical procedure that results in predictable pain relief and satisfactory function in patients who have various inflammatory, degenerative, and post-traumatic conditions. Despite the loss of wrist motion, most patients report satisfactory functional outcomes, confirming that they are able to accomplish most daily activities of living with some adaptation and compensation.
