High rates of psychosomatic and neurotic symptoms among disability pensioners with musculoskeletal disorders

A questionnaire survey was performed among 450 early retired pensioners (ERPs) with musculoskeletal disorders and an age- and sex-matched control group. The response rate was 83%.
