Congenital deformities of the foot - A few selectec metric and numeric malformations of the foot ( fibular deficiency, vertical talus, coalition, syndactylism, macrodactylism, metatarsal malformation, cleft foot, overriding fifth toe) are discussed to demonstrate, that concepts for their treatment should be developed in optimim use. Besides function cosmetic aspects of the foot also deserve being respected.
