J BONE JOINT SURG AM , 2005, vol. 87, n° 9, p. 1957-1964 Doc n°: 122493 Localisation : Bibliothèque Universitaire de Médecine de Nancy Descripteurs : DD561 - TRAITEMENT CHIRURGICAL - COUDE Over the past decade, the indications for total elbow arthroplasty have increased. One complication that is well recognized but is poorly described in the literature is insufficiency of the extensor mechanism involving complete or partial rupture, or avulsion, of the triceps tendon. We therefore reviewed the records of patients who had undergone surgery for the treatment of triceps insufficiency following total elbow arthroplasty to determine the management options and outcomes of intervention for this problem.
